Built a B2B platform that digitizes dental order placement, internal lab workflows, and communication between dentists and the lab — improving turnaround times and visibility.
Deutsche Aligners, a dental lab, was overwhelmed by manual workflows: • Orders arrived via WhatsApp, email, or phone • There was no way to track progress or communicate systematically • Clinics had no visibility into order status or delivery timelines This created delays, miscommunication, and inefficiency across the board.
We built a full-fledged digital platform to streamline lab ordering and internal operations. Key capabilities: • Dentists can create and manage orders via a secure portal • Each order flows through multiple internal statuses (review, production, QA, delivery) • Built-in messaging system for dentists ↔️ lab staff • Notifications for approvals, delays, and status changes • Admin dashboards for lab managers to monitor progress and workload
Worked closely with the product agency (Bluemandarin) and client to design order flows, permissions, and automation logic tailored for the dental industry.
Led backend architecture in Node.js and MongoDB. Built robust APIs for multi-step order workflows, secure file uploads (dental scans, prescriptions), and internal messaging.
Worked with frontend team to define clean interfaces and hook up real-time features. Provided mock APIs and documented backend integration.
Handled complete AWS infrastructure setup, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployments. Built logging and alerting to monitor workflow lags.
